The road to a well-being starts with understanding the principles of health and healing. When you look at the state of healthcare in our world today, clearly our philosophy has not been working out. The World Health Organization has stated, “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” Yet, most people and the medical community would say they were healthy when they simply do not have pain, ills, or symptoms of “disease or infirmity.” Maximized Mind is also concerned with challenges such as time and stress management, a lifestyle that supports healthy brain function, neurological nutrients, and the adequate sleep you need in order to express good mental health.
